[4G] Casio’s Pathfinder 5000 and Pathfinder 240 timepieces
Welcome to another edition of [4G] — Guyism Gear, Gadgets, and Goodies — where we bring you the latest in the stuff you need to see, do, own, or play, plus as is always the case we’re giving away something great.
You need to know what time it is. You need to look good. Now you can combine these two very important needs thanks to Casio and their Pathfinder 5000 and Pathfinder 240 timepieces. And not only will they tell you the time and make you look good, these watches will also do a lot more. A whole lot more. Read on…
The solar-powered (yes, solar-powered) Pathfinder 5000 is equipped with Casio’s one-touch triple sensor technology and includes a digital compass, altimeter, barometer and thermometer. The Pathfinder 5000 has a unique second hand that acts as a compass needle, altitude and barometric pressure differential indicator, while the hour and the minute hands are specially designed with cut-outs for greater visibility of the dial underneath which assists with reading the digital display and dial indexes.
The Pathfinder 240 is also solar-powered and features Casio’s one-touch triple sensor technology (altimeter/barometer, thermometer, and digital compass), sunrise and sunset data, and the world time (for 48 cities), but at a more affordable $250.00 versus $450.00 for the Pathfinder 5000.
We’re so pleased with these that we asked Casio to give one away to a lucky reader so they can see for themselves just how boss these watches are and being the splendid company that they are, they agreed!
To be entered to win your very own Pathfinder 240 (a $250.00 value!!!) all you have to do is sign up to be our friend on Facebook.
