Hangman TV mount solves a problem and saves you money
Somewhere along the line, it became socially unacceptable for most people to have a flat-screen television sitting on an entertainment center. No, it had to be mounted on a wall. Now, wall mounts do save space, but you rarely see them in tiny apartments; more often they’re in some enormous house where saving space is almost as much of an issue as, say, whether Human League will ever have another hit.
Thankfully, the Hangman is here to wipe the floor with this.
The Hangman is so incredibly brilliant it’s a bit baffling it took this long to be thought of and released. It’s as straightforward to install as it gets: anchor one aluminum bar to the wall with drywall screws or mounts, using the built-in level to keep it even. Bolt the other aluminum bar to the back of your TV with the provided bolts. Hang TV on wall bar.
Done. And you did it yourself for $30. It holds up to a 65″ TV, too, so even better.
Compare this to your typical TV mount, an aluminum monstrosity that can cost a thousand bucks on its own, generally needs to be professionally installed, and not only put any cables for your TV well out of reach, it also goes out of whack at the slightest tug and can take forever to readjust.
Hmmmmm…a painless, cheap, simple DIY installation that requires literally a drill and fifteen minutes that just works, or an expensive device that has to be professionally installed and barely works. Have to think about THAT one.
