Limited quantity of Vizio Tablets on sale via Facebook, Twitter today
Tablets are all the rage these days, and Vizio, maker of fine television products, is jumping in the fray as well, with their aptly named “Vizio Tablet.”
The tablet’s scheduled to go on sale today, but but the company is going to release a limited number of them for sale via their Twitter and Facebook pages come 1:30 PM EST today (or, 10:30 AM PST, if you’re one of those left-coasters like most tech people).
Vizio’s latest offering will come in a bundle with a Micro SD card and a Folio case.
It features an 8-inch high-res screen, an HDMI output, front-facing camera for video chat, and utilizes the Android market.
Additionally, the tablet’s integrated with all kinds of home electronics, including Vizio televisions (there’s a reason right there to make your choice in brand of tablet, depending on what television you own), and, from what I understand, up to “95 percent” of all home electronics.
And there’s been plenty of rumor that the Vizio Tablet will have the power to control Google TV when it’s integrated into Vizio’s latest television offerings.
So, if you own a Vizio television and want a tablet, simply want a tablet, or are just feeling adventurous and want to be the first person at your holiday BBQ with a Vizio Tablet, hit up the company’s social media sites and get your consumer on.
