Play Katy Perry Off, Synthetic iPad Keyboard Cat!

Will Brinson

I don’t listen to a ton of Katy Perry. And while I own a cat (Izzy, not pictured), I don’t listen to a lot of iPad “Angelic Meow” covers of “Teenage Girl” either.

But that doesn’t mean these amazing covers aren’t floating out on the old Youtubes!

That’s right — a cover of a Katy Perry on an iPad using a program that recreates the way a cat would sound if its vocal chords were stuffed inside a synthetic piano. Just in case, you know, there was some concern that this would be too serious of a foray into the world of tech-stuffs.

Anyway, three things that are worth noting:

1) This probably means that Katy Perry is a full-on Succubus who, instead of using her evil powers to drain mens’ souls, focused instead on becoming a multi-billionaire. (Wise choice.)

2) I probably shouldn’t bother reviewing the special deal that iTunes is offering re: “top albums from the 2000′s.”

3) This scared my cat. She’s 14 years old and I’m fairly certain she’s deaf and blind so that’s pretty impressive.

What'd you think of this?
