SITE NEWS: Everyone welcome Guyism’s new Tech Editor, Will Brinson
From this site’s humble launch a little over a year ago through now, we’ve aspired to bring talented writers to cover the topics in which men online are genuinely interested. Today, we’re very pleased to announce that we’re expanding our daily coverage into the Tech sector, specifically gadgets and games, spearheaded by seasoned writer Will Brinson.
So why is Will uniquely qualified to guide this maiden voyage into daily tech reporting for us? Will, like the rest of our editorial leadership, is a veteran of the blogosphere. He’s covered sports for leading sites including CBS Sports (where he currently covers the NFL), AOL’s Fanhouse, Yahoo!, and many others.
But most importantly, Will has a passion for Tech the same way our other editors care about what they’re covering.
Will offered up the following for reasons why you should love, and trust, the selection of him as our new Tech Editor:
“I blog for a living, so I literally spend all day in front of some kind of screen. When it’s not my computer and my television, it’s my iPhone. Or my iPad. Or my [insert other gadget I've purchased here.] Sometimes, I spend lots of time playing in an online Madden franchise league.
Regardless of how awesome that makes me (answer: very), the point is that I spend a whole lot of time and money on gadgets and games and now I’ll be writing about them. Hopefully it’ll be funny, informative and if not Pulitzer Prize-winning, then at the very least an outlet to get the future Mrs. Ex-Brinson to stop complaining about me acting like a ‘really manly nerd’ too often.”
See? Isn’t that adorable? Yes. It is.
