‘Skyrim Mom’ is probably not real, but let’s pretend it is

One of the hottest game related Twitter accounts at the moment is more than likely a fake, but it’s a funny fake, and that’s what most important, right?

skyrimmom Skyrim Mom is probably not real, but lets pretend it is

So the story goes something like this: Nick Breckon is a community manager for Elder Scrolls V, and decided to let his 65 year old mom give it a spin. And then tweet everything she has to say while as she goes through the game.

One can follow along here. The following are my favorites; a few are funny, while others have the characteristics of them being possibly legit. As in, whomever isn’t trying too hard to be funny and makes observations that only a 64 years old woman would make:

“It took me like an hour to create my character. I couldn’t decide between Macho or Girl.”

“These guys were yelling at me ‘get to the Keep, get to the Keep!’ I didn’t know the symbols yet and I felt so stupid.”

“It was all dark and everyone was hiding behind boulders, and I didn’t want to die again, so I just kept shooting and shooting and shooting.”

“I took on some woman in a house. I stole all her food and she pulled a knife on me and I killed her. Is stealing part of the goal?”

“I died so I went back to the same house and did it again as a nice person.”

“I thought the beginning part after the chopping block was timed like Super Metroid.”

… Okay, that last one is sorta suspect. But then again, there are moms who play Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, albeit drunk.

What'd you think of this?
