Spike iPhone case has a flip-out keyboard
Most of us have gotten used to touch screen keyboards. But some of us refuse to adapt to the modern era, convenience to others be damned! Fortunately, they’re no longer stuck with BlackBerry; there’s a new iPhone case just for them.
The Spike iPhone case is actually fairly ingenious as these things go. The case is a fairly normal iPhone protector, but if you fiddle with the back, out pops a keyboard. Fold it around and it lies across the touchscreen keyboard, giving you the tactile feedback you so obviously crave. Here’s a video:
Need the full screen? Just flip the keyboard aside, and then flip it back. For those less inclined to text and who only need a keyboard occasionally, there’s also a model where the keyboard slots in the back and can be pulled out when you need it.
It is a pretty good idea, if for no other reason than there are millions of people who have iPhones and no idea how to use them. You know two of them, Mom and Dad. The project is currently running on Kickstarter, so throw them a few bucks and marvel at your parents’ improved typing speeds.
