But give them credit for at least coming up with a an app that lets customers watch live television and doing so before the year 2030.

Unfortunately, if you happen to have a jailbroken iPad, the app isn’t going to do you much good because, as Engadget notes, Time Warner’s blocking anyone who jailbreaks their iPad from using the app.

This is, of course, ridiculous.

And the solutions are minimal. Either you can a) restore your iPad to its factory settings, or you can b) get your TV from somewhere else.

This shouldn’t be that surprising though — the iPad app clearly has turned from a computer into a human and now fully resembles a TWC customer service rep.
