VIDEO: The Chipophone can probably play every Nintendo song
It’s kinda crazy to think that certain people used to have the job of writing music for Nintendo games back in the 80s. This guy has designed his own 8-bit synthesizer called the Chipophone (made from an old organ) and he can kick out the old school Nintendo jams.
It’s kinda crazy that this guy built a synthesizer and he can naturally pump out a bunch of different Ninteno songs. You never really think about how they make the sounds for the game when you’re playing them, so it’s interesting to sort of see how something so basic can play so many different songs from our childhood. I’m sure it looks to be a bit dated at this point but those songs from Nintendo games seem to really come back to you when you hear them played on this thing. And how awesome would it be to have this guy playing your 80s themed Halloween party?
