Behold the handiwork of Dream Arcades, which makes all sorts of custom arcade cabinet creations. Some fairly authentic and pedestrian looking, others that are… not!
The list of features include an adjustable seat and steering wheel, both of which is covered in leather, along with the shift stick, force-feedback enabled gas, clutch, and break pedals, an HD monitor, a “high end” gaming PC that’s pre-loaded with 200 racing and other arcade games (ugh, more on that in a second), the ability to connect with a PS3, and most importantly… the ability to hold either two 5 gallon or one half-barrel keg. Plus a the tap built into the dash…
Sounds awesome doesn’t it?!?! Though truth be told, the final package looks kinda janky. Not saying I could easily create my own, but still. EDITOR’S NOTE: This article previously made a reference to unauthorized ROMs that was inaccurate. A Dream Arcades rep says that all of the ROMs are legal and, in fact, most of the ROMs on the machine are not MAME compatible. The more you know.
