VIDEO: Did you know that the now jailed founder of Megaupload was a gamer?

Thoughts on piracy and file sharing aside, the following will make you glad he’s in prison, just for being an annoying rich prick.

When Kim Dotcom (real name Kim Schmitz… him changing his name to dotcom is just a tip of the iceberg), much was said about his wacky, rich guy lifestyle. The dude indulged in fast cars, even faster yachts, and huge mansions filled with toys. And all that alone is okay; if you have the money… even if it’s acquired by completely questionable means… why not spend it, right?

But he was apparently an overbearing blowhard, who flaunted his riches like a complete douche. At the very least, and again given the legalities involved as it pertains to his fortunes, you’d think he’s be smart enough to not post retarded videos of himself on YouTube, exposing himself to the entire world.

And much of these vids are video game related. Like the following that Kotaku recently stumbled across. Like this one, which has him trying to mess up some girl playing an arcade game…

And here he is, outside, acting like a bigger a**hole…

Oh, so another thing he was into was Call of Duty. In fact, he was at once point the highest ranked player ever, in the entire world! This has been passed around quite a while, but for those who missed it, footage of him taking the top slot officially…

Unfortunately, he’s no longer number one. Apparently they don’t allow Xbox 360s in prison, hence why he has been able to defend his position in recent weeks, and hence why someone else is now number one. Which I’m guessing is one of the many things that’s running through his mind as the rough and tumble lifers that I can only imagine are in a New Zealand prison are having “fun” with his fat ass.
