For those who still have some cash to spare, here are your game related Cyber Monday deals
If you’re like me, you had better things to do this past weekend than deal with the unwashed, cheap-ass masses that flooded department stores. You may also have better things to do on a Monday than actually get back to work. Now is the time to buy some games!
First off, we’ve got Amazon, we’ve got Amazon’s Video Games Lighting Deals. Like a jillion of them. Instead one every hour, there’s like twelve I think? A few have expired already, but many more are in the wings…
There’s also a bunch of stand-alone, no countdown attached deals. It’s a combination of mostly older titles, with plenty of current hits, all around 40%, which is nothing to sneeze at. Everything can be scoped out here.
Now, if you don’t mind dealing with a bunch of random sellers (including Best Buy, GameStop, and NewEgg), Kotaku, courtesy of their hooks up at Dealzon and Deals4Downloads has a full rundown of the savings possible today.
The entire list can be viewed here; nothing’s particularly mind-blowing, but it’s perfect for those who would have liked to have gotten the Kinect for cheap this past weekend, but wasn’t keen on the idea of getting pepper-sprayed.
It’s listed already, but because I forgot to pass along the following, here it is: even though it lags behind in most accounts, the Mac gaming scene is still much healthier than it once was. They’re oldies, but they’re still goodies, and the three Grand Theft Auto 3s can be nabbed for practically a steal!
BTW, remember me mentioning that Microsoft had some killer Cyber Monday deals lined up? Yeah… about that. They’re not so hot after-all. But hey, if you’ve always wanted to check out one of the most overrated games in the past ten years, aka Beyond Good & Evil, in HD no less, now’s the time.
Now, if you have enough to play, and are instead looking for something to wear, might I recommend Meat Bun‘s line of actually legitimately stylish game related threads? For those who missed their Black Friday sale, rejoice, because they also have a Cyber Monday deal going on!
You can get 33% anything with the code LETSCYBER. I would definitely recommend their Star Fox inspired design…
And for those who just want something a little “different”, how about this NES controller turned into an iPhone/iPod Touch dock via some dude on Etsy…
