Netflix has arrived on the 3DS, and with it, portable 3D movies (coming soon)
Yet another chance to watch episodes of Coach on yet another gadget of yours. But those hoping for 3D content on your 3DS, believe it or not, it’s happening! Eventually.
The Netflix app was made available today across the nation as part of Nintendo’s weekly eShop update, which gives you access to your streaming que and the such. Though the big news is something that Nintendo perhaps accidentally let slip, since Netflix themselves have yet to say anything regarding the following…
“”Users will soon have access to an additional library of select movies that can be viewed in 3D without the need for special glasses.”
Again, via Nintendo’s own PR team. No details have been disclosed, like it actually goes live, but soon you’ll be able to watch three dimensional classics like… ummm…. seriously, are there any actual good 3D movies? as in moves that were made with 3D in mind and not just tacked on like an afterthought, to gauge movie goers with even high ticket prices… and on a rather tiny screen.
Whatever, VIVA LA TECHNOLOGY! But remember, it’s not here just yet. Don’t panic that it ain’t working quite yet, like this dude that Tiny Cartridge discovered…
