The war against Sony continues on; is Anonymous winning?
Hey, remember the internet hate machine’s full-force attack against the house that PlayStation build that was supposed to go down this past Saturday? Guess it did, just a few days later, and in a different fashion.
As reported last week, the original plans called for members of Anonymous to wreck havoc at the retail level on Saturday. Well, as several outlets reported the following day, such as Destuctod, turn out was poor and maybe thought the initiative has run out of steam.
But that was then, and this is now; since last night, the PlayStation Network has been down since last night, and everyone’s seeing this…
According to the official PlayStation Blog, it might be out for a while longer…
“While we are investigating the cause of the Network outage, we wanted to alert you that it may be a full day or two before we’re able to get the service completely back up and running. Thank you very much for your patience while we work to resolve this matter. Please stay tuned to this space for more details, and we’ll update you again as soon as we can.”
Sony is being hush-hush on the cause, and while Anonymous says that they are no longer engaging in attacks that has Sony customers caught in the cross-fire, this could be the work of a splinter group as well.
But yeah, this totally blows; the pic above take right after a failed attempt at finally nabbing Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes HD!
