Time to check out GameStop, Best Buy, and Toys R Us’ Black Friday deals

We already know some of the savings that Wal-Mart has in store next week, but if one is not nearby, or if you’d simply prefer some place else, there are other options.

bf Time to check out GameStop, Best Buy, and Toys R Us Black Friday deals

First off, what does America’s largest dedicated video game retail chain have in store? Lots, apparently. Here’s the full rundown, and here are my highlights:

- Rage can be had for just $30? It may have disappointed critics and the like, but that price cannot be beat.

- Driver: San Francisco, aka one of this year’s most underrated gems, for just $20? Hell yeah.

- Same goes for LA Noire for that same price (which obviously is far from underrated).

- Even though I absolutely loathe Sony’s packaging for their PS3′s greatest hits line, I’d be willing to deal with a ugly ass red box for Uncharted 2 for $15 if I didn’t have the game already.

- Though my “you MUST get this game” pick would have to Split/Second, aka one of the best things arcade racers in seriously years, since Burnout 3 at least. For just $10 new, you have to be insane not to take advantage.

Next, we have Best Buy. Again, the entire rundown of their Black Friday deals can be gathered here, and again, my picks include:

- What is it with the crazy ass deals on racing games? Dirt 3 can be nabbed for just $15.

- If you want to get into better shape, but Wii Fit is just not your deal, might I recommend the also underrated UFC Personal Trainer for $24.99? But if at all possible, get the Kinect version.

- Everyone’s offering Gears of War 3 for $30, which might not be as impressive as Wal-Mart’s asking price of $30, but it’s still a killer deal. Though Best Buy is the only play I know of that’s offering Gears of War 1 for only $8.

- Best Buy is also the only place to have Uncharted 3 for just $30 as well.

Finally there’s Toys R Us, whose deals aren’t as extensive as the other guys, but is still worth noting. Starting from here, just to pages 26 and 27 for what they have in store. Their buy 1, get 1 free offerings are mostly just DS games that one clearly cares about, but their buy 1, get 1 for just $5 selection is far more enticing.

What'd you think of this?
