Not only are a bunch of high profile new releases hitting the streets today (the aforementioned Mortal Kombat reboot and the sequel to Portal), but today’s an awesome day to save a ton of cash on some older games as well, via Amazon’s Gold Box.

The deals began earlier this morning, and I’m afraid those who wanted to save a chunk of change on World of Warcraft Battle Chest are out of luck, because that offer has already expired. Sorry! But right now (as in, the next 45 minutes of this posting) you can nab Dragon Age 2 for just $40! Though also as of this writing, 80+% has been claimed, and going fast. So better start clicking add to cart button ASAP.
