VIDEO: A live-action ‘Skyrim’ movie would definitely be a nice thing

It’s one of those things that you don’t even think about, until something comes along to make you consider such an option. Like a nicely produced commercial for example.

It would seem that Bethesda, well aware of how everyone’s talking about Battlefield 3, wanted to remind everyone of the other hotly anticipated release this fall. I speaking of Elder Scrolls V of course…

… Not much to say here, other than, I would totally see something about an hour and half/two hours longer, on the big screen, and preferably directed by Peter Jackson please. Oh, also, the main guy is a tad bit skinner than what I had originally envisioned, but that’s also what makes it work to a certain extent.

The last time I felt the same was for the commercial for Metroid: Other M. But mostly because the girl they got to play Samus is so f’n smoking…

… BTW, that was the version I could find with the least amount of annoying YouTube annotations in the way. Yeah, cuz blocking Samus’s breasts with your sh*tty URL is going to make me want to visit and support your site. Totes. But anyway…

Actually, the best example of them all would have to be this old ad for a GBA game, Golden Sun. The set-up and execution are pretty flawless. And yes, the star is fairly attractive herself as well…

Hey, on that note, I’ve almost totally forgotten to pass along the latest installment of Dragon Age: Redemption!

… Again, it would certainly help if I was familiar/cared about the subject material. Unfortunately, Day’s big goofy elf ears are still a turn off, and it still sorta feels like Xena, but not as much. Hopefully we’ll be pretty much done with the exposition by episode 3, there’ll be a few fight scenes, and… those ears will have magically shrunk half an inch or something.
