VIDEO: Alice: Madness Returns looks pretty decent… I guess

The long-awaited sequel to the much beloved American McGee’s Alice is almost here. And most fans will agree that the sequel appears to be worth the wait! Too bad I’m not one of them.

Though there is no denying, it does look competently put together…

The problem is, I can’t stand the art style. See, I went to art school, where everyone had one get out jail for free card up their asses: doing a “dark and twisted” version of Alice In Wonderland. So the fact that someone actually stuck with the concept and made a game out of it… Jesus.

Also, and I guess you also had to go to art school to know this as well, but the original art style of Alice In Wonderland (pre-Disney) was pretty creepy enough, no need to go all Hot Topic. But hey, kids today, what can you do?
