VIDEO: Behold Jeremy Lin’s virtual highlight reel

Surely those who obsessed with watching the NBA’s latest sensation, Jeremy Lin, bust moves on an actual basketball court would like to see him do the same on a virtual one, right?

I know nothing about basketball, nor sports in general (at least the rules don’t seem as confusing as football’s). But I know of Jeremy Lin, and speaking as an Asian American (well, half of one), I’m happy that he’s doing so well, and that yet another celebrity from the east has captured the hearts and minds of you round eyes.

And since I’m the resident gamer around these parts, I also support the following tribute, done entirely in NBA 2K12…

Lin was rated 75 as of yesterday afternoon, when Kotaku first posted the video, a number that might be higher after last night’s game. I also get the impression that his stats in game are a reflection of his real life performance, via updates.

Again, I know nothing about sports, and that extends to sports video games for the most part.
