VIDEO: Bringing a gun from ‘Resident Evil’ into the real world

Many games take real life weaponry and adds all kinds of flourishes, to make something unique to its universe. Such augmentation might be on the dramatic side, others, not so much, In the case of the later, it’s apparently not all that difficult to make something similar from Resident Evil. Via Kotaku…
Personally, I think the silver barrel doesn’t look quite as nice as it does in game (perhaps the quality of the finish is somewhat lacking, or maybe it’s just the lighting in the video), but the logo on the handle is a nice touch, And hollowing out the hammer is pretty neat as well, though I have to wonder if there’s any difference, performance-wise. Anyhow, something from Metal Gear Solid next, please.
