VIDEO: Duke Nukem Forever, when it finally arrives, will deliver the goods as promised

To be honest, the jury is still out as to whether the gameplay will be up to snuff, but at the very least, everything else… big bad aliens to blow up, pretty explosions, a plethora of weapons, and tons of babes… is shaping up quite nicely.

Warning: the following is fairly NSFW…

I will admit, as someone who has generally not given much mind to Duke Nukem Forever, let alone the franchise as a whole, this is the closest I have ever gotten to wanting to play the thing. I guess after so many heavy-handed FPSs as of late, Duke’s timing could not be any better.

Sure I still don’t get the appeal of the somewhat lazily delivered lines from the series lead (I know I say this all the time, but the opinions still stands; at least he’s not just repeating Army of Darkness quotes anymore, though no doubt a few are back), plus I think the babes look a bit “meh” (at least there’s a girl from one of the other trailers that sorts cat ears that sorta cute; I guess he goes to an anime convention in one of the levels or something). But overall, it’s shaping up to be an actual game that’s close to being playable, which is the most important part.
