VIDEO: Hey MK fans, even more freebies (sup old school Smoke)
Matt Hawkins As was the case with Skarlet, for those who don’t want to download the latest new fighter, there’s another update to ensure compatibility, plus some additional new costumes thrown into the mix.
Though in this case, I might actually nab Kenshi since he’s not just some color swap and has a wide variety of totally original moves (well, for someone that never heard of the guy before MK9 that is). Though the brand new freebies is certainly a bonus…
I have no problems with how Noob looks in the new game, but have never been fond of Smoke’s long white hair, so this is a bonus indeed.
Anyhow, another week, another hole left by the abrupt hiatus of Mortal Konbat: Legacy. Perhaps no one else cares, but I was really into it! Sorry, but it’s hard to deny that it’s one of the best attempts thus far to extend a franchise outside the realm of the game’s core environment, plus that original short really did the new game rolling (not saying if it didn’t that we wouldn’t have MK9, but it most certainly helped).
And again, I’ve got a stockpile of wacky MK clips that would be tagging along afterward to share anyway…
Okay, admittedly, that wasn’t very funny. But I also totally dig the art-style for whatever reason (kinda want an entire MK game to look like that). So here’s yet another Liu Kang, something that you don’t need to so much watch but simply have on in the background…
