VIDEO: It would seem Link is familiar with ‘Star Wars’

Long gone are the days in which the damsel in distress was a pretty lass that you would get to bang for all your trouble. She might be your sister, dude!

Perhaps it’s worth pointing out or reminding folks that the following is from Legend of Zelda: Link To The Past. To be honest, I didn’t question the dialogue in question as a kid, despite being a massive Star Wars nut, simply because I was already familiar with Zelda as well. But man, what a curveball Nintendo missed out on throwing…

I dunno, I laughed. It was mostly the old timey, vaguely Looney Tunes-esque music, plus some of the expressions are pretty classic. Here’s another one, by the same dude, that’s pretty short and sweet and is about the choice of clothing available in Saints Row 3 (but what most choose to go with most of the time anyway)…

I’ve actually featured Egoraptor before; he did that comparison of Mega Man and Mega Man X that I frankly couldn’t stomach. Well, here’s another one, this time comparing the original Castlevania for the NES and its SNES remake…

Unfortunately, as the first two clips prove, this particular person is only funny in short spurts, and the argument this time is again hampered by way too much needless foul language. But he at lest does a better job of proving how an old game actually was a bit smarter back in the day. Still, I’d take the 16-bit version over the original any day.
