VIDEO: No More Heroes for the PS3 means no more excuses

Familiar with No More Heroes? It is by far one of the best games of this generation (aside from No More Heroes 2 of course) that hardly anyone played. And why is that? Well…

Mostly because those who dig stylishly, over the top sex and violence in their games more than likely didn’t think a Wii title could possibly fit the bill. Or, those same types who perhaps heard of the game… which involves running around town, decked out in some truly high-class threads, despite being a total anime dork, and slicing folks folks with effectively a lightsaber, plus pulling off the occasional luchador wrestling move, all while trying to bang your uber hottie of a benefactor… but was turned off by how all Wii games are standard definition, a real no-no for those who can only stomach titles in HD. Whatever.

Well, those clueless idiots out there (or maybe just folks who have legit never heard of the game), the time for excuses is over, thanks to the PS3 port that comes out later this summer. Here’s the trailer from Japan…

It’s actually an enhanced version of a port that came out a few months ago; the Wii original was re-released on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Japan. Us dieard fans were able to freely import the latter version, due to the PS3 not having any region encoding when it comes to games, but they all gimped the gimp version due to it being censored. Plus, the shift from the Wiimote the standard controls was not (and still isn’t) much fun at all.

So this new version adds support for the Move, along with some extras, like a bunch of bosses from part 2. Oh, and the sex and violence has been restored, plus taken up a notch or two it would seem! Which thankfully is also the one that’s coming out here in America. Bug your local Gamestop goon for it today!

Oh, and because I’m so into the series, and am similar to the game’s protagonist in many ways (i.e. I’m also a huge animu nerd), am going to pick up this statue, based upon the main cock-teasing heartthrob in the game…
