VIDEO: Randomly stating video game titles while trying to get a girl’s number is hard
Matt Hawkins There’s this trio of dudes in San Francisco, self-professed geeks, who have claimed to have mastered the art of the pick-up. So confident they are in their skills that they actually charge people to tag alone while hitting on girls, as to share and demonstrate their abilities. Seriously.
They also take requests. Like asking them to flex their magic, but also name dropping assorted game titles at the same time…
Apparently, using pick-up lines from video games themselves (there has to be a few, I’m sure of it) was too basic a premise.
I will admit though, some are kind of funny, if only because they’re so brazen about it. Whereas others are completely throwaways and shouldn’t even count. At least the interaction involving Final Fantasy is legit hilarious. But the fact that they actually got some numbers makes the entire video rather depressing.
