As noted yesterday, many gamers have an strong affinity for the good old days, which some developers are well aware of. But here’s something that’s decadently different, and far more… old school/legit.

Instead of an original game that’s intended to emulate a NES title, it takes the code of a pre-existing title. It’s more commonly known as a ROM hack. In this case, it’s the original Tecmo Super Bowl and the updated elements include all 32 teams that are on the NFL today, this year’s roster, as well as other enhancements…

The new spin on a beloved classic can be nabbed here. I highly suggested all interested parties to do so ASAP, cuz the legalities of all this is dubious to say the least.
