VIDEO: Star Fox 64 3D, yet another justification for your 3DS is almost here

For those who are approaching the finish line with Ocarina of Time 3D, pace yourselves. Because the next N64 classic to be reborn in three dimensions isn’t due for another month plus couple days.

But till then, something to wet your appetites; the final trailer that immediately preceded the Japanese version’s launch. two weeks ago…

For whatever reason, I could never get into Star Fox 64 when it first came out. Was just different from the SNES original, and not in a good way. Sorry, but I’m still a sucker for flat shaded polygons, and I still feel the new soundtrack (which has since become the series’ staple) can’t compare to the music found in part 1. Still trying to find why they changed gears.

But despite all that, I guess I’m ready to give the game another shot. The above looks hella fun, though I guess I’m mostly eager to play a halfway decent Star Fox game at long last, since the series has been in a tail spin for quite some time. Anyway, time again for something new from the Dorkly crew. Which, surprise, is topical…
