Once again we’ve got a commercial in which a gaming peripheral is designed to help you focus all your attention on your game and not only your gal pal…
Okay, it’s not as bad as some commercials, in which the gf is bothering the dude with chatter about period or whatever girls supposedly says to annoy their men (according to marketing types). Or how she obviously wants to have sex, which again, is something that’s annoying (lol advertising).
It even stresses how she might appreciate the thing, since you’ll be sparing her the sounds of your guns a blazin’, which is a decent angle to be honest. Still, ads in which the basic message is “women just don’t get/appreciate your love for gaming” has gotten might old.
Oh, and the headset itself looks way too big and bulky to be comfortable. Also, why can’t it just use Bluetooth instead of resorting to a USB dongle? That’s lame. But now I’m just nitpicking. Anyway, comes out next month, September 6th, for $99.
