VIDEO: These are the winners of BlizzCon’s costume contest
Matt Hawkins The aforementioned love-fest for Blizzard games and its fans just wrapped up with… a costume contest. And here’s what nabbed 3rd, 2nd, and 1rst place.
When I first saw Jay Mohr on stage, not gonna lie; thought to myself “great, another B- list celeb hosting a function that has no real connection with or interest in the subject matter.” But then Mohr reveals that he’s been doing this for about five years now, so that has to count for something (and even if it doesn’t, can’t begrudge a guy from paying the rent).
Plus I’ve since been told that he was pretty drunk at the time (maybe that’s obvious) and also appears to be genuinely impressed with the winners, regardless. Though it’s impossible not to be with the following, especially the grand prize winner…
… I also liked him calling out South Korea, where StarCraft is serious business. Anyhow, for those who want to know what the last one looks like in-game…
