VIDEO: Time to see the best and worst locales that fighting games have to offer
Matt Hawkins It’s something hardcore fighters concern themselves with, whereas most everyone else could give a damn: the backgrounds in games like Street Fighter and Tekken. And here we have the seven best along with the seven worst.
And who exactly are the ones to come up with such a ranking? Why, the guys who revealed the Street Fighters that weren’t up to the snuff, that’s who. And much like that one, the two guys handling the subject matter clearly know their stuff and are legit entertaining!
True, a few of their jokes fall flat, and there’s perhaps a tad much swearing for my tastes (though it’s not nearly as bad as the douche from that Mega Man rundown), but they’re still funnier than 99.9% of all other YouTube commentators…
My only beef is with entry number 6 for worst stage ever: if you’re going to include a background with sheep, then it had better be from Tekken 6. Also, be sure to allow the following music to wash over you and stay in the back corner of your mind till the day you die…
… Though I will say, their choice for the best of all time, from Tekken 5, is pretty on the money!
