Matt Hawkins As noted not too long ago, the hottest game of the summer is almost here, and it comes in two flavors: a standard edition that costs normal price, and a slightly pricier “Love is Over” special edition set. And what exactly does the extra $20 get you in the end?

Atlus always goes beyond the call of duty when it comes to their special editions. They try their best to give a taste of all the extras that’s standard practice over in Japan. That being said… as nice as the pizza box presentation might be, and much of the stuff inside looks cool, will have to pass. Sorry, but I’m going to have a pillow with a sexy animu chick on it, I want the real deal, full body type (that all the blogs love to use for their obligatory “LOL JAPAN!” posts). The boxers and the shirt look neat, but it being America, I’m guessing they’re XXXL. The best part is the art book/CD soundtrack, but those are pre-order bonuses if you just get the vanilla plain edition.
My only concern is which standard version to get; each over is quite dreamy…
