VIDEO: What happens when you combine The OC, The Warriors… and Dance Dance Revolution?
You get The FP, one of the standouts from this year’s SXSW.
The movie also has elements of Mad Max and Breakin’, plus don’t forget how the star totally looks like Solid Snake. Most importantly, what you see above is not some trailer for a fake film that will never come to be; it’s an actual feature length production.
It’s the brainchild of the Trost Brothers, and one half at least, Brandon, has quite a few film credentials underneath his belt (as cinematographer, with Crank: High Voltage being the most note-worthy). The other sibling, Jason, is the one who was a DDR diehard in high school “for some goddamn reason” and the two have melded their expertise into the bombastic package you see above.
If there’s a God above, this masterpiece will find it’s way to Netflix Instant Streaming one of these days.
