They weren’t so much born that way, as they were trained that way. Though being stupid probably plays a huge part as well.

Well, at least it’s not so bad in 3D games. In 2D affairs, rushing from one side of the screen to the other isn’t the core problem, it’s just an issue of how boldly and stupidly they handle themselves. But again, at least they’re moving. Whereas in, say, God of War or Devil May Cry, ever notice while being surrounded by enemies that a few will engage you and the rest just sorta stands there, like total goofs?
I believe the creator of GoW, David Jaffe, once addressed this issue at the Game Developers Conference, but you sorta have to be a games maker to really understand everything he talks about, let alone care in the first place, so moving on… How about a bonus Dorkly clip?
