Matt Hawkins You can always tell how kick-ass a company is by their snack bar, as is the case of the offices of Valve. Hey, a happy game maker will make a good game, even if it takes copious amounts of Twinkies and Hot Pockets.
It’s funny, because I’ve worked for two different game companies, and my bagged lunch getting stolen from the fridge was also a CONSTANT issue. F’n nerds with no respect for others. I also love hearing about this big, pink cookie they have at the place, which is supposedly a whopping 7,000 calories (and I believe it).
Man, as if one didn’t have enough reasons to want to work for Valve already…
