VIDEO: Would women’s wear in fighting games actually work in the real world?

Matt Hawkins Contributing Writer, Video Games

You know how your girlfriend constantly goes “yeah, sure, whatever” whenever you play Soul Calibur, as it pertain to what the women in the game are wearing? Wel, time to see they are indeed dressed for combat.

Though I’m afraid to say that most women know what they’re talking about, at least when it comes to such matters. Yet as a red blooded male, I go deaf whenever my gf complains about thongs feeling uncomfortable. Anyhow, see what happens when two real deal ladies dressed as Sophitia and Ivy from Soul Calibur 4 actually go at it…

… Not to be a jerk, but the experiment would have been far more enjoyable (and accurate) if they got women who actually, you know, could fight. Though I’m gathering that Gina Carano is not that desperate for money at this point.

Anyhow, from Rooster Teeth yet again, is another slice of video game logic being put to the test in the real world. Ever wonder if random food IRL is just as effective in Gauntlet or Streets of Rage when it comes to replenishing health?

… Again, not quite the test I had assumed. I also take issue due to first hand experience; I once got a crap beat out of me in Red Hook, and after scarfing down a turkey leg I found in the trash, I was 45% better!

What'd you think of this?
