VIDEO: Yes, Virginia, Duke Nukem Forever is actually coming out
Matt Hawkins Every gaming blog across this great land is saying the same exact thing: “We normally don’t make a big deal when a game has gone gold, but it’s Duke Nukem we’re talking about.” And I have to agree; now do you believe in miracles?
The almost ten year long roller-coaster ride is almost over; very soon we will all be playing the one game that many thought would never materialize. But let’s be honest; given all the hype and mystique the title has both intentionally and unintentionally built over the years, it’ll be a miracle if it can even halfway meet expectations.
Though I’d like to hope at the end of the day that it’ll at least be pleasantly surprising. No doubt those who now steward the Duke legacy knows they have much to live up to and have been trying very hard to not look like complete fools when all is said and done.
Hell, the game could totally broken upon arrival! It almost doesn’t matter… what does is how the wait, it’s finally OVER. So to mark the occasion, one last teaser for the road, and to wet one’s appetites…
