VIDEO: Your favorite video game gals stripping & doing a sexy dance
Check out Zelda, Chun Li, Bloodrayne, and Princess Peach… or women dressed as them to be exact… at some video games burlesque thing.
First off, Kotaku recently posted a clip of some burlesque group here in NYC whose routine mostly centers on pen and paper RPGs, though there’s at least one digital game reference (the girl from Earthbound, Paula)…
I will admit that some of the girls are legit cute. Though generally speaking, sorry, am not a fan of burlesque. Hey, I love seeing semi-naked girls prance around as much as the next dude… guess I’ve just seen too many bad examples that my opinion of the form has been forever tainted. Beauty is in the eye of the holder, though a girl looking sexy and moving as such are two totally separate things. Basically, it just seems like an excuse for some ladies who think they’re all that to strut their stuff, which is fine and all, but the semi-negative energy that sometimes comes with is a real buzz kill. Especially when they tap into subject matter that clearly screams “this’ll make those dorks cream their pants.” Again, I’ve seen some wretched burlesque in my day, including a chick who was dressed as Samus but doing it all wrong. Sorry, the details are what’s important to me.
Whereas this clip is not nearly as offensive. Granted, I have no idea if they’ve actually played any of the games from which they’re drawing from (my gut feeling says “no”). but I’m confident that I’ve said too much as is…
