Unfortunately, because my computer sucks, I’m unable to run the dam thing. Keeps asking me to update my Java, which I already did, yet nothing. Wonderful, I know. I think it might be a Lion (10.7) thing, because others have had no problems under Snow Leopard (10.6).

Anyhow, I can therefore cannot describe how controls are handled, but otherwise, I do know via Capcom Unity that it’s a timed demo, allowing for just 30 minutes of play (in that case, I guess it might be best to skip the cinemas, which I recall there being a good deal of, via the ESC key), and that you can’t save your progress.

It’s somewhat of a shame that the far superior Dead Rising 2: Off The Record, with the far cooler Frank West as the rightful lead, though Chuck Greene is at least tolerable for half an hour. Anyhow, I’m guessing that many of you at work have Java enabled, and since Gaikai is a relatively new thing, my bet is that it ain’t banned from work! At least not yet, so take advantage today.

Oh, and if running around a casino and beating zombies up is not your thing, how about running around in a futuristic suit and shooting at stuff? Or just kicking a ball around? Cuz you also have Crysis 2, along with FIFA Soccer 12, and also… Farming Simulator 2011. Simply head on over to Gaikai’s homepage.

What'd you think of this?
