‘Hearthfire’ basically turns ‘Skyrim’ into ‘Minecraft’
On the Xbox 360, at least. Meanwhile, Dawnguard may never come to the PS3.
First things first: the latest Elder Scrolls V DLC, Hearthfire, is here. And it’s… pretty different…
Yeah, I don’t get it either. If you’ve grown bored of murdering random villagers, banging hot vampire women, and shouting at dragons, I guess building stools and baking pita might get you back into the game?
Anyhow, like all Skyrim DLC, Xbox 360 owners get first dibs (came out yesterday in fact), with PC players next in line (in a few weeks), followed by PS3 loyalists at the very end. Or will they? After all, the last one, Dawnguard has yet to make its appearance on Sony’s machine, despite being well overdue.
According to various sources, including Joystiq, the game’s makers have been experiencing “technical difficulties” as it pertains to porting over the last bit of DLC.
Some are speculating that it might never happen, like Destructoid, which I don’t personally believe. Though I’m also guessing that when it arrives, it’ll be a technical nightmare that will take eons to patch. Just like the regular game!
