Latest ‘Resident Evil 6′ trailer is filled with stuff

This new trailer for Resident Evil 6 has lots of shooting and explosions and pathos, oh my my.

Along with mutant giants and something about the President of the United States being turned into a zombie? The latest trailer definitely feels epic, as it should. That’s what launch trailers are supposed to do.

And it certainly looks like hella fun. Problem is, it just doesn’t feel like a Resident Evil. Though I appear to be in the minority.

Either that, or most folks were not around for the originals, when it was less mowing down the front and center two dozen zombies with the 28 or so machine guns you have handy, and more nursing the three bullets you have left as you nervous hear “something” around the corner.

The game finally drops October 2nd.
