Monica and Penelope Cruz pimp ‘New Super Mario Bros 2′
Matt Hawkins The house that Mario built must have paid a small fortune to nab their services. And seeing Penelope Cruz dressed as Mario, plus all the complaining on YouTube, was well worth the price.
Nintendo has a history of getting famous actresses to promote their portable hardware, but they must be extra serious about the next Mario title for the 3DS.
I have to admit, as someone who has never had a thing for Penelope Cruz, my opinion of her has undergone a complete 180. All it took was her to cross-dress as my favorite childhood video game character! Not sure how I feel about that.
Though, as we like to constantly point out, the best part of any video is the comments it manages to elicit. And in this case, there’s a fairly easy to identify theme…
