Once a video game maker, now a beer connoisseur

Matt Hawkins Contributing Writer, Video Games

Meet Dr. Greg Zeschuk, video game maker/beer connoisseur, aka a god amongst men.

Late last year, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, the two men who founded BioWare (Dragon Age, Mass Effect), decided to step away from making games. Whereas Muzyka felt like mentoring entrepreneurs, specifically those who wish to create social change, Zeschuk had other ideas: to host a web-based interview show that centers on his love for craft beer.

And thus we have The Beer Diaries

Here’s a tad bit more background info on Dr. Zeschuk:

Dude went to medical school, became a doctor, and a good amount of money. But he got bored with medicine and decided to make his own video games. Almost right off the back his studio did very well, which resulted in even more money. That led to EA purchasing BioWare, who helped to produced the aforementioned games, resulting in even greater bank. Then the dude becomes bored once again and is now exploring his love for booze on YouTube.

I’d say God bless America, but he’s actually Canadian. Anyhow, here’s episode two, which just went live…
