Perfectly Clear won’t make you a better photographer; will clean up your photos
As somebody who knows a little bit about photography, I hate Instagram and its knockoffs. Seriously. Stop using it. It doesn’t make your photos any more interesting, and it certainly doesn’t make them better. Instead, download something that does actually make your photos better: The photo editor Perfectly Clear on Android.
Perfectly Clear is a pretty straightforward app. It allows you to tweak skin tone, vibrancy, sharpness, tint, exposure and a few other features with a simple slider bar. It also automatically scans the photo and tries to fix the problem. I used my Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy to take some deliberately ugly and unflattering photos of myself and it did a marvelous job of cleaning up everything that was wrong with the shot.
Granted I still remained ugly, and it didn’t make them good photos, but there’s only so much you can expect a dollar app to do, and it did clean up every major problem I threw at it. The one downside to this app is that the “beauty pack,” which whitens teeth, gets rid of red-eye, and so on, costs an extra buck. I’d rather have just paid $2 up front. Still, for a buck, it’ll make your awful pictures slightly less awful, and that’s really all you can ask.
