Someone has transformed the NES Zapper into a real laser gun

Now it’s time for that dumb ass, giggling dog in Duck Hunt to pay the piper.

The fine folks at North Street Labs, which is a hacker space located in Virginia, just put itself on the map overnight thanks to their handiwork, which takes the totally innocuous Zapper light gun accessory for the Nintendo Entertainment System and turns it into a legit deadly weapon.

For those interested in creating their own, a tutorial can be found here. The overall process is lengthy and seemingly complicated. Which only makes sense, since you’re creating a goddamn laser gun goddammit, the kind you see in sci-fi flicks.

Now all you need is a NES controller belt and you can finally become Captain N for reals!
