This new way to walk in video games looks dumb as hell

Instead of pushing forward on a joystick, the WIZDISH has you physically walking in the real world in order to move your video game character. Because that’s we’ve always wanted, right?

Actually, you’re not really walking, but shuffling. But what’s the difference? Who cares?

As Kotaku notes already, the above not only looks way too labor-intensive, but flimsy and dangerous as well. I’m also betting it’s super expensive too, though I couldn’t find any mention of cost on the homepage.

Instead, I came across plenty of additional videos, like this one, of just some kind in his bedroom with the thing. It is both amusing and slightly sad…
