Well, this is one way add buttons to Android games

Matt Hawkins Contributing Writer, Video Games

As noted yesterday, what good is a sexy looking smart phone game if it plays like crap? But now there’s a way to bring console-like controls, to Android games at least; via the GameKlip.

As you can see, it’s basically a cradle that connects the smart phone to a PlayStation 3 Dual Shock. Not the most elegant of solutions, but at least it works, right? Plus, who doesn’t love the feel of a PS controller? Except for 360 zombies, naturally.

Though, I basically went “okay…” right around the 50 second mark, when the differences between the wired and wireless versions were explained. And this coming from a guy that’s super fluent with smart phones, so I’m betting most will be equally confused.

Then again, hardcore gaming dorks will have no problems figuring it out. The same kind of people who are willing to carry a Dual Shock with them, wherever they go. Hope they also have Galaxy phones, because that’s the only thing that’s being supported (with the exception of two HTC handsets).

Well, there’s always the Xperia Play at least.

What'd you think of this?
