It’s the latest from indie game developer Anna Anthropy, aka Auntie Pixelante. Many of her games are of a… let’s say… sexually tinged, and this latest is no different. And she’s clearly doing something right since her latest creation is brought to you by Adult Swim! For all those interested, you can play Lesbian Spider Queens of Mars here.

For those unable to play it at the moment (come on, it’s Friday, I’m sure you’re boss won’t mind), you’re a half naked chick, half arachnid leader that must track down and capture run away pixelated hotties, but also be mindful of their defensive measures.

As one can see, it’s quite old school. In fact, it’s actually closely based upon a very old arcade game Wizard of Wor. As she explains in her blog post about her brand new game, she got rid of the shoot button to create a one-handed affair. Which of course is rather smart, given the subject matter, even if the finer details are lost among the pixels.

I’d say the last one is my fave. The impression isn’t so strong, but he’s really living the Carl lifestyle. And the gag about the box and his mouth is just hilarious. Well played, you viral marketing geniuses. See, you don’t have to make the idiots in Boston think they’re getting blown up to have an effective marketing tool!
