Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz have officially called it quits. After denying for months that they had gone separate ways, US magazine is now confirming the two have split.

“She’s very busy with her career,” the source says of Bad Teacher actress Diaz, 39. “And he’s had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They’re dedicated professionals.”

After the game, A-Rod had a good laugh about the botched plays.

“Nothing happened, I just botched them both,” Rodriguez said with a laugh. “That’s one thing you can’t emulate when you are down in Tampa rehabbing.”

“I had some good swings, good balance, felt my legs were under me in the box again,” Rodriguez said. “I think on the field, my first day out there in over four weeks or so … it’s gonna take a little bit of time. It’ll probably be the last thing to come.”

Don’t worry Yankees fans, he’ll have all the kinks worked out before his return Thursday. But for now, Joe Girardi plans on using him as the DH. Judging from the video above, that’s probably a wise idea.

That game was hosted at investor and record label owner Cody Leibel’s $16.5 million Beverly Hills mansion, and cocaine was openly used. Bilzerian revealed that a fight nearly broke out when Leibel refused to pay after losing more than a half million dollars. Bilzerian told Star: “Molly ran one game at Cody’s mansion. [One player] got all coked up. Everyone had to chase Cody down for the money, and he later paid me a sum and gave me a watch but stiffed me for $100,000.”

The games were organized by a woman named Molly Bloom (pictured right), who is being sued by the jilted investors of a Ponzi scheme orchestrated by Brad Ruderman, one of the main players.

“Molly was supposed to vouch for anyone who stiffed, but [she] didn’t cover the loss — and that’s why [in part] she left Los Angeles to go to New York to run games.”

“It was a rough initiation to high-stakes for poker for A-Rod,” added the whistleblower, who spoke on condition of anonymity. But Star can reveal the source was on Molly’s payroll and had intimate knowledge of her business’ inner workings, regularly working at her games, which were held at private homes and luxury venues.

As if the allegation that drugs were openly used during games wasn’t bad enough for A-Rod, it appears he hosted a 2009 game in Miami where thugs were called so someone could get out of paying a debt.

But the Florida gathering also ended in controversy when one “dubious” card sharp lost tens of thousands of dollars and called in several thugs in a bid to intimidate rival players and avoid paying his debt. “The thugs were big and aggressive and were sent to the game with one goal in mind: so their friend could attempt to escape paying what he owed,” the insider told Star. “A-Rod was freaked out by the company he was keeping and left the game with Molly.”

Needless to say, A-Rod keeps some strange company, although he does deserve some credit here for jumping ship when things got a little hairy.

As to whether anything will come of this, well, A-Rod did receive a warning in 2005 from the MLB about stopping his involvement in these types of games. Apparently, he even told commissioner Bud Selig that he would stop visiting those ultra exclusive New York poker parlors.

But unless there’s more of a smoking gun here, I doubt he will receive anything more than a slap on the wrist.

I have the perfect solution for A-Rod. Since his lady-friend Cameron Diaz hasn’t made a good movie in uh…forever, why not employ her as the site super. Truthfully, she has nothing else to do except follow you on the road and feed you popcorn. And at the very least, this way, you ensure the pool is up and operational as she’ll have no choice but to get it fixed so she can lay around all day to work on her tan. This also helps with the male tenant complaints as well. They’ll more than likely ignore that dog feces they just stepped in if there’s a hot blonde in a bikini at the pool.

Alex Rodriguez might have a lot of natural ability on the baseball diamond, but can he cut it in Hollywood? He’s been known to be a bit flamboyant and theatrical and I think it’s safe to say he has the ego for it, so why not.

Next week, filming will start on the movie ‘Friends With Benefits” with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. That’s a star-studded cast folks, A-Rod should fit right in.

‘Friends With Benefits’ chronicles the misadventures of two friends as they have just come out of a disastrous romantic relationship. The film is directed by Will Gluck.

Principal photography is about to commence in New York, with the production working around A-Rod’s busy Yankees schedule and shooting his scenes on his off days. No word yet on what character he’ll be playing.

Come to think about it, we should give A-Rod the benefit of the doubt. For years, the man stood in front of cameras and demanded that he never used performance enhancing drugs and a large majority of people believed him. If acting is simply making someone believe you’re someone else, then damn, hand him the Oscar right now.

Dr. Anthony Galea, the same doctor who has treated A-Rod and Tiger in the past, was charged with smuggling, unlawful distribution of human growth hormone, introducing the unapproved drug Actovegin into interstate commerce and conspiring to lie to federal agents and defraud the United States. That’s legal mumbo jumbo for “you’re in a world of trouble”.

Galea, who had been flagged at the U.S./Canadian border before, had repeatedly sent his assistant into the country to take medicine and other supplies for him. But in September of 2009, she was stopped at the border carrying HGH and tried to pass off some cockamamie story to the agent. After some convincing that probably included “going to pound me in the ass federal prison”, the assistant Mary Anne Catalano, is now the key witness for the prosecution.

Smart decision on her part.

As for the rest of this case, Anthony Galea is essentially the Canadian version of Balco’s Victor Conte. Sure, some of the procedures he performed are actually accepted medical practices. There are many athletes out there who have used blood-spinning techniques to recover from injuries.

But injecting athletes with HGH and other drugs you’ve concocted in the lab doesn’t exactly fall under the guidelines of the Hippocratic Oath.

Oh yea, by the way, A-Rod claimed this doctor only prescribed him an anti-inflammatory. Why A-Rod needed a world renowned sports physician who specializes in blood spinning and HGH to prescribe him some Motrin is beyond me.

You’d think given Alex Rodriguez’s recent problems with steroids, HGH, and other performance enhancing drugs he’d use more discretion on the doctors used to treat him.

But A-Rod either thinks he is above that or is just simply too stupid to put it all together.

The doctor in question, Anthony Galea had an assistant stopped last year at the U.S./Canadian border with two vials of HGH for him.

Dr. Anthony Galea also told The Associated Press an assistant who was stopped at the U.S.-Canadian border in Buffalo, N.Y., last year was carrying only a minuscule amount of HGH — which Galea said was for his own use. The doctor reiterated that he has never given the drug to an athlete.

“I only brought enough for her to do two injections into me because I was away for two nights,” said Galea, who believes authorities and the media have exaggerated the accusations involving him and his practice.

He reiterated that he ONLY prescribed A-Rod anti-inflammatories. I believe the swelling wasn’t only in A-rod’s hip but for his over sized head.

This tidbit of information is also not helpful to his case

A former doctor for the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts, Galea is known for using a blood-spinning technique — called platelet-rich plasma therapy — designed to speed recovery from injuries. Among the athletes he has treated are golfer Tiger Woods, swimmer Dara Torres and several NFL players.

So there is no doubt, given this information that Galea likes to skirt a few rules to get results for his athletes. And even if you think A-Rod is innocent of actually using PEDs in this case (insert snide remark here), he’s at the very least guilty of extremely poor judgment.

Busted Coverage has discovered a cache of photos of Elaine Spottswood, who is supposedly ARod’s new girlfriend, after dumping Kate Hudson.

We also know, looking at Ms. Spottswood’s Facebook account that she is a 2006 University of Florida alum.

Color me shocked. Kate Hudson, who is annoying in every single movie she’s in and who nags the crap out of every human beings she encounters is now leaving incessant messages on Alex Rodriguez’ phone.

“Kate realizes now that she drove Alex away by being so pushy about marriage,’’ the source says. “She’s left him messages, but he hasn’t returned her calls. She wants to talk to him about how they can work it out without having to tie the knot.”

Either way, actress Kate Hudson and the baseball star have called it quits.

The sighting comes just as reports have hit the Internet via GossipCop claiming that Miss Hudson and Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez have mutually called it quits.

Having never really officially confirmed their coupledom, the twosome were together throughout the entire summer, with a friend telling of the news, “Wow, they were happy a week ago.”

I’m not a relationship expert nor do I know the ins and outs of Hudson and Arod’s soiree, but I’m going to take a guess here and say they broke up because Arod is an enormous tool.

See sometimes, and I stress sometimes, chicks are stupid. Especially the hot ones. They go for guys that are athletic, have good bodies and are full of themselves.

Instead, they should be going for fat, out of shape guys who are down on their luck.

So basically, me.
