Here’s a new poster for the movie, depicting the Caped Crusader (do people still call him that?) against a flaming bat-shaped explosion in Gotham City. Peep that tagline towards the bottom, too: “The Legend Ends.” If you were doubting that this was the big finale, you should probably stop doing that.

When a new villain breaks the Bat and takes him out of the picture, chaos reigns in Gotham. Can Bruce Wayne get it together and save his city, and what will it cost him? Not in terms of money, that guy’s loaded.

One of the most eagerly awaited movies of the summer of 2012 is The Dark Knight Rises, because 1) the first two films were really good, and 2) Anne Hathaway in this Catwoman outfit. (I must say that I like her hair a lot better longer. Sorry, Anne.) Now two questions come to mind (well, two I can print, and yes, more bullet points) now that we have seen these promo photos from Entertainment Weekly: 1) Catwoman uses a gun? Wouldn’t a whip have been more appropriate for the promo pic? And 2) how the hell does she commit any crimes in those shoes? She must be more nimble than any other previous incarnation of the character if she’s running around being stealthy in those heels.

“I still need to go through the process of proving myself,” Lohan, who’s hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, tells Matt Lauer in an interview that will air on Today Thursday.

With her legal problems nearly over, Lohan says she’s a different person now, and that she’s gotten partying out of her system.

“That’s not my thing anymore,” she says. “I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody, and I like that.”

Uh. Yeah. Sure.

In another shocking development, milquetoast Anne Hathaway says that she and Lindsay are like sisters in sin.

“Lindsay Lohan and I have more in common than people think”, Hathaway, 29, tells The Sun. “We’ve all done things we shouldn’t. It is just that I did stuff at college when nobody knew about it, so I’m not a saint. I wasted time doing self-destructive things.”

“I found you can only dance on so many table tops,” said Hathaway, currently engaged to Adam Shulman. “I got all that out of my system and I am healthy and grounded.”

It was announced today that for the upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, the part of Catwoman will be played by none other than Anne Hathaway! What do you think about that?! This is quite a coup for the woman who will also be hosting this year’s Oscars.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story,” said director Christopher Nolan in a press release.

“I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”

That Tom he is referring to is Tom Hardy who will play Bane, but we don’t care as much about that, do we? The movie isn’t scheduled to come out until July 20, 2012 so you’ll just have to take a look at these 100 hot photos of Miss Hathaway and use your imagination until then to figure out how good she’s going to look in a black catsuit.
