Even though I believe it’s fairly obvious that it’s fake, I still feel the need to, as a representative of this site, to pass along the following. Since again, this site is all about wacky videos of old people and video games…

This time there’s some additional info: she’s Belgium and is advertised as a World War 2 Vet, which is highly plausible. Though the fact that she’s the grandmother of some guy on YouTube who advertises himself as the The Best Gamer In The World is a dead give away that this is a ruse.

On, that and the ending. Honestly, without that needless addition, I could see some folks thinking this could be real, since some of the complaints leveled sound like stuff that someone whose been around the block and witnessed actual action (especially from her neck of the woods) would know about.

Like if certain weapons in the game are too strong, if the transitions between regular and scope view are too quick, plus how real men are supposed to act like on the battlefield. Weren’t the average age of European soldiers back then like 12 or something ridiculous?

A PHOTOGRAPH of a young Newbridge Fine Gael candidate in the forthcoming local elections has caused a bit of a stir in the past 48 hours.

The photograph was taken at the 30th birthday party of a friend of Emma Kiernan, who is seeking a seat on Newbridge Town Council.

The photo is typical of many party pics which are posted on Facebook pages, and wouldn’t have attracted any attention but for the fact that the 27-year-old is running for election.

According to Ms Kiernan, the photograph was posted on a friend’s Facebook page without her knowledge. Facebook allows site users to electronically “tag” their friends in photographs. Photos of Ms Kiernan tagged by her friends are available to view through her own Facebook page, and the candidate would have been able to view the photos herself. Facebook also allows users the option of making their sites private, but Ms Kiernan’s was, at the time of writing,public and available to Facebook users.

“Admittedly it’s not a great photograph,” she said, “and if it did cause offence to anyone, I’d like to apologise.”

I don’t get it. I mean, yes, it’s not the most flattering photo in the world. But it’s not like she’s spread eagle on a bar getting banged by two bouncers and an eel. It’s only the Town Council in Ireland. You’d think a country that’s drunk 97.98% of the time would be more accepting of a girl’s alcohol-related dalliances. Especially when she’s as hot as Emma Kiernan. She could top my poll any day.

I used to think Europe was way more free with these sort of things, but maybe I was wrong. Like we as Americans turned a blind eye to when that video of Hillary Clinton performing at a donkey show during her days at Yale Law, but Ireland can’t take a little gentle groping? I hope they never see Condoleeza Rice’s German Scheisse video. Lots of bran was required to film that one.

A mother in the Belgian tourist haven of Ghent has been accused by her estranged husband of selling her newborn twin boys for more than $13,000 to pay for cosmetic surgery.

Marc Poppe, 48, told an undercover reporter for Dutch television that Sonia Ringoir, 31, had sold the babies to a friend to fund liposuction, the fat removal procedure. He said the couple had searched the Internet to find a quick way to make money: “It was financially attractive to us. Of course we wouldn’t do it for nothing.”

Since Belgium has no law banning the sale of children, Ringoir was charged with “degrading treatment” of the twins. She was also charged with fraud after a Dutch couple alleged she had conned them by falsely offering to be a surrogate mother. If convicted, she could face between one month and five years in jail.

After spending five days in jail, Ringoir was released last Wednesday to await the results of the police investigation. She denied the allegations, claiming she gave her babies away for free last March to a friend who could not have her own child because of a weak heart.

I’m conflicted here. On the one hand, I think that if you have children and don’t want them, it’s better to give them to parents who would love them and have the means to take care of them. On the other hand, I believe unattractive women should spend as much as possible to look more aesthetically pleasing to me. Wait, so actually, I’m totally cool with her selling these kids then. I mean, her price seems a little low, but the kids might be ugly or something, so maybe that explains it. Or one of them has a flipper. Either way, this couple was probably concerned they were getting a lemon.

Adoption agencies make a fload out of selling kids, I kind of don’t get why, if it’s legal, this chick can’t do the same. So long as you’re not selling the kids to Twisty Ty the Neighborhood Abusive Pimp, it seems within reason that she should be able to sell her children just like someone else might. Especially if the children would make a delicious part of my baby stew. With 8 different spices and all the nutrients of a growing fetus, how could you possibly go wrong?
